| Now, by popular demand, we offer two stakeout systems. Just in time for the snow birds. There are stakeouts available at Wal-Mart that will suffice for the very occasional user. Our Colorado climate does not even lend itself to the concept, except maybe in one or two of the hottest months. Heavy duty "pro-works" Our pro-works stakeout system is economical. 3/4" steel tube at 6" length is penetrated by 18", 3/8" sharpened rebar. These hold up very well and can be painted to match your rig. They stack nicely and include chain only upon special request. designated -- our Pro Line Model. These are 16 inches tall, T designs with a complete two way swivel held 3 1/2 inches from the top bar by a 2" washer. They are chrome plated to avoid deterioration and look really sharp. Chain is available at 75 cents per foot with six to ten feet recommended. Add another $1.00 for a good quick couple. At ten feet, the chain works as a collar, too. They come in three strengths based on the diameter of the steel used to make the T. 3/8", 1/2" and 5/8". All are strong enough to hold any retrieving dog in place. Heavier weight steel is better for use in harder soil. Most damage occurs attempting to use a stake out in rock or hard packed soils.
